Mona works in experimental photography, sculpture and drawing. She is particularly interested 19th century camera-less photographic processes. She makes pinhole film cameras and pre-cinematic animation devices.
Mona is inspired by ecology, ephemera and folklore. She lives in Cork, Ireland with her husband and their dog.
